Director's Message

Hello, I’m Dr. Emily Wilson, and I am pleased to serve as Director of the Academic Success Center. In the 17 years I’ve been an educator, I have seen how well learning communities work to promote growth, which is why I am delighted that this Center revolves around students helping other students.

The Academic Success Center consists of both physical and digital spaces where students from any college at Alfaisal University can find the academic assistance they need for a variety of different subjects. The Center offers face-to-face and online consultation sessions to assist students across a number of disciplines, and over time the Center will expand to support even more courses. Using the online scheduling software, students can book appointments for 30- or 60-minute consultation sessions and get help with writing papers, understanding tough concepts, or solving problems. The student consultants who work at the Center have excelled in their respective courses and have been trained in teaching. They engage in an ongoing professional development program to ensure a high quality of instruction and assessment for students who visit the Center.
